Customer service rep refused to check status of my wife as authorized user despite being given the solution provided by AT&T customer care. Wouldn't even pick up the phone to check because that would require effort. No help from the manager on duty, Mario Trevino. Logged formal complaint with corporate office. We'll see if there is any resolution or if this is just AT&T's corporate mentality.
